Founded in 1999, PowerDNS.COM BV is a privately held company operating from The Netherlands.
In 2002, the PowerDNS Authoritative Server was released as Open Source, in 2004 the PowerDNS Recursor followed.
Besides these two products, PowerDNS.COM offers custom (DNS) development and consulting services, as well as support contracts.
PowerDNS products are used by the biggest and most respected service providers, some of which are listed on our Users page.
